Plans change — here is exactly what happens if yours do, and what we do in the rare case that ours have to. This page summarises the Terms & Conditions; where the two differ, the Terms & Conditions apply.
All payments towards Cuba in Tunisia 2027 — first payments, instalments, balances and fees — are non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend, whatever the reason. That includes illness, visa refusal, travel disruption and changes in personal circumstances. The same applies if a booking is cancelled because an instalment remains unpaid seven days after its scheduled date.
You can cancel from your CIT account at any time. Cancelling releases your place and stops the collection of any instalments not yet due — but amounts already paid are not returned.
This policy is what lets us commit to hotels, artists and carriers many months ahead at fixed prices; it applies equally to everyone in the familia.
Instead of losing what you have paid, you can transfer your pass to another person — once, at any time until 30 April 2027. Raise a support request from your CIT account with the new holder's full details, settle any instalment already due, and pay the name-change fee: €50 for a Full Pass, €20 for a Festival Pass Only, €100 for a Flight Package. The new holder takes over the pass, its CIT account and any remaining payment plan. After 30 April 2027 no transfers or name changes are possible, because participant details are passed to the hotels, carriers and the Tunisian authorities.
Because your booking is non-refundable, we strongly advise every participant to take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking — covering cancellation, travel disruption (including cancellations and delays) and health-related incidents. If illness, a visa refusal or a cancelled flight stops you travelling, it is your insurer, not the festival, that puts the money back in your pocket. It is exactly what travel insurance exists for, and it costs a fraction of a pass.
If we cancel Cuba in Tunisia 2027, we refund every amount you have paid us for your pass and add-ons, to the card you paid with, within 30 days of the cancellation. We are not liable for costs booked independently of us — flights not bought from us, other travel or accommodation — which is one more reason to hold insurance that covers them.
If the festival is postponed rather than cancelled — for reasons beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics/pandemics, governmental action or travel restrictions, fire, war, terrorist activity, civil commotion, strikes, and utility or infrastructure failures, or transport disruption — your pass and your payment plan carry over to the new dates automatically.
Festivals evolve, and ordinary changes to the programme — artists, workshops, timetables, venues — are not a cancellation and do not entitle you to a refund. If we have to change the festival dates, or move you to accommodation of a lower category than you booked, we will tell you without delay and offer an
alternative of equivalent value; if you do not accept it, you may cancel and receive a refund of the amounts paid to us.
